Every woman needs a pair of high heels, even if she favours sneakers or flats more. I guess some of my readers think like this: High heels are fashionable, but uncomfortable, and can even lead to chronic foot damage. It doesn’t make sense to favour footwear which harm and hurt feet, plus render it difficult to run from ancient and modern predators.<\/em><\/p>\n

Oh yes! <\/em>But if wearing high heels makes women more attractive, allowing them to be choosier over a larger number of higher quality males competing for their attention, this could explain the evolutionary advantages of this fashion statement.<\/p>\n

There are a number of reasons why women enjoy wearing heels. Some women feel more confident when wearing heels, or like the attention it gets them. Others enjoy how heels flatter their bodies by making them appear more slender. There are many different styles of heels that woman can choose from. These include pumps, stilettos, and wedges. My offer of five reasons why every woman should have at least one pair of good heels in her closet.<\/p>\n
